About SACW | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
South Asia Citizens Wire (SACW) dispatches are an emanation of the South Asia Citizens Web (http://www.sacw.net); run on a voluntary basis since 1996, and in a structured (digest) form since 1998. The content is reports (from the mainstream media, autonomous media and unpublished material) and information on implications of the rise of fundamentalist politics and shrinking secular spaces in South Asia; It is intended as a counter information effort for people concerned and interested in issues of peace, secularism and democratisation in or connected to South Asia.
