Subject: REMINDER: Palestine Freedom Project general interest meeting
TOMORROW, April 2nd, 7 PM
**PLEASE FORWARD TO RELEVANT LISTS**

The Palestine Freedom Project
cordially invites you to...

A REVOLUTION in Palestine solidarity activism!

Thrills! Chills! Knafeh Nabulsiyye!

Empower the movement! Meet awesome people! Make cool stuff!

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008, at 7pm.

Imagine having a database of every Palestine activist group on the planet.
Imagine being able to make just one phone call to line up the perfect
speaker for your next event, whether it's in Hamburg or Harlem.
Imagine having access to professional-quality activist skills
training for your entire organization - in print, in person, or even
on the web - for free.
Imagine sharing resources so effectively that activists in Buenos
Aires can use that same great idea, or flier, or tactic, that your
group developed just last week in Brooklyn.

In other words, imagine being able to thoroughly whoop the opposition's ass.

Slowly but surely, the Palestine Freedom Project has been turning
these dreams into reality. Running on a shoestring budget with a
tiny, but dedicated group of volunteers, we've been working to
strengthen our entire movement from behind the scenes. International
speakers bureau? Check. Database of 2000 Palestine activist groups
around the world? Check. Survey identifying the specific needs and
available resources of those groups, with 187 responses from nineteen
different countries? Check. The world's only comprehensive how-to
guide to utilizing technology for grassroots political activism,
which just happens to be written specifically for Palestine activists? Check.

It's amazing what we can do with a fraction of the resources of the
opposition, just by being smarter and better-looking...

But seriously...

We already know we're smarter and better-looking. Let's talk about
results. Our work is a little different. Our movement's greatest
strength lies in the amazing individuals and organizations that
comprise it. By harnessing the collective resources and experience
of the millions of people struggling around the world for justice in
Palestine, we're helping our movement transform itself into a global
powerhouse under its own momentum.

We can't do it alone, though. All of us at the Palestine Freedom
Project are active local organizers in addition to our ongoing work
with PFP. While essential to maintaining the necessary grounding in
grassroots local activism, this also means that we're stretched
thin. In order to keep PFP going, we need activists like you to join
us in our efforts. Whether you can contribute an hour a month or an
hour a day, we need your help to continue our work.

Did we mention that it's really, really fun?

Anyway, you can learn more about PFP and the many ways to get
involved by attending our first-ever general interest
meeting. There's also free knafeh Nabulsiyye. For serious.
