Retrospective on master Tunisian director Nacer Khemir and Palestinian
Revolution Cinema shorts program!

Tomorrow TUE 2/27: New documentaries from Bangladesh, India, and Afghanistan
will be screening at Alwan.  Simultaneously at Columbia , we'll have more
Palestinian Revolution Cinema with the feature "Back to Haifa" as well as
the US Premiere of Experimental Egyptian Feature "Ithaki"!

WED 2/28: While South Asia Docus continue at Alwan, DCTV will host a sneak
preview screening  of "Afghan Women: A History of Struggle" and panel
discussion on the status of women's rights in Afghanistan with director
Kathleen Foster, Representatives from Women for Afghan Women, moderated by
DCTV reporter/producer Tami Alpert.
