My quartet is performing at NYC Winter JazzFest next Wednesday.  This is a
showcase style event at the Knitting Factory in conjunction with the
International Association of Jazz Educators conference.  The line-up
includes almost 20 bands on 3 stages!  The complete line-up and ticket info

This event is FREE for IAJE conference attendees and jazz industry
professionals.  The cost is only $25 for everyone else.

I'm happy to say that my latest quartet album Codebook (Pi) and my
collaborative duo album with pianist Vijay Iyer Raw Materials (Savoy) were
both named as two of the top albums of 2006 by the Village Voice and
JazzTimes among other publications and blogs.
