Subject: Times Up! Wake Up! Get Outraged! Oppose the new NYPD regulations!
Support Environmentally Friendly Transportation and the Right for
Communities to Assemble
Cycling and nonpolluting transportation are on the rise, increasing
by over 5% each year in NYC. Skaters, cyclists, pedi-cabs, cargo
bikes, and hybrid vehicles are creating a nonpolluting sustainable
future for NYC. They are also having a positive effect on creating
community. However, some city officials, fueled by special
interests, are at it again. They are trying to quell non-polluting
transportation and the right for communities to assemble.
Times Up!, a 20-year-old nonprofit environmental group, promotes
nonpolluting transportation, saves community gardens, and empowers
communities to work together for a sustainable future. Times Up!
fought continuously for the environment and your right to
assemble. Now is your time to take ownership over your rights and
freedoms in the city. Oppose the city's new regulations, help resist
the restrictions being imposed on nonpolluting transportation, and
preserve your right to assemble.
