Hello all,

  I am writing to ask for your help in compiling a list of those
of you who speak Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, Farsi, any
Indonesian languages, etc.  The Asian American Legal Defense Fund
(AALDEF) desperately needs volunteers to read, write and translate
oral communications for some of its staff attorneys.  Much of the
translation work can be done over the phone and does not take very
much time (written translations can be faxed in to AALDEF).
  For those who are willing to help with this work (which would
take place over the summer), please e-mail Nadia Janjua
